Jasper Johns, Flag. The flag illustrates an optical illusion: When one stares at the dot in the center and then blinks at a white surface, the afterimage appears as the American flag’s correct colors: red, white and blue. (The afterimage will not appear when staring at the flag on a computer monitor.) We framed this limited edition flag with a smiple white rag mat and solid maple frame.
