This acid-free white signature mat and ready made frame was created for the 25th Anniversary of Brew Pubs at an event attended by dignitaries of the City of Berkeley. We cut signature mats with a V-Groove around the center opening of the mat to help keep signatures away from the matted photo or certificate. We also install the glass under the mat and over the art or certificate so that the art is protected from handling during the event. After the event, the frame is brought back to us, and we simply install the glass over the mat for permanent protection of the entire piece. All signature mats should be covered with UV glass to protect the art and the signatures from fading. We use Tru-Vue Conservation Clear glass for this purpose. |
